For the sixth time Rige Music was represented by several artists like Estasia, SRB, Rotterdam Terror Corps, The Wishmaster, DRS and many others. In a hot, dusty atmosphere the visitors could enjoy the power of all styles of hardcore with some crazy speedcore and terror at the end by Dissoactive and Suicide rage. All artists played their asses off and enjoyed interaction with the enthusiastic crowd. The Disobey Records crew did a surprise performance at the Rige Music stage and RTC made a giant selfie with the German hardcore lovers. For Rige Bookings and Rige music this year was again very successful with their Megarave themed stage and will be present next year of course.

We welcome uptempo artist Lunakorpz. The 22 years old producer is known for spending almost every hour in his studio. His passion for (uptempo) hardcore isn’t something you can learn, it’s straight from the heart!

Lunakorpz started playing for F*cking Bastards a few years ago. On their label his first track was released called ‘Eleven’. After that release his new ep on Uptempo Is The Tempo was called ‘Hard with the Korpz featuring Mc Komplexx and Eddy Hardcore.

The release at Partyraiser Records: ‘Lunakorpz - Die bitch’ was a personal success for him. He is working on another collaboration with Scarphase: ‘Hit the moshpit’. Soon a new project will appear on Offensive Rage.

Lunakorpz played at numerous parties in Holland, Belgium, Germany and soon in France.

Stijn Simons started his DJ career in the year of 2010. He was the winner of DJ contest 'Beter kom je niet' at Thunderdome Radio.

In 2015 Exhilarate started with the focus to produce uptempo hardcore tracks with hard beats en nasty screeches . He released tracks on Toxic Sickness Digital and a Nr 1. place with "Dirty Words" at Megarave records together with System:Overload and Unleashed Fury.

He played at events like Intents Festival, Together we are hardcore, Hardcore World Cup and Dynamite Hardcore and on a regular base at Epic Hard XL parties in Tilburg.

Paul Elstak en Dr Phunk scoorden onlangs een platinum plaat met hun hit: Kind van
de Duivel, een samenwerking met rapper Jebroer. Een onverwachte voltreffer voor
de producers, die de plaat maakten voor de clubs en festivals. “Dat nu hele
basisscholen de tekst mee staan te zingen is bizar”, aldus Jordy Buijs, beter bekend
onder de naam Dr Phunk. “In eerste instantie was het een instrumentale track met
een aanstekelijke melodie, maar op een bepaald moment ontstond het idee dat het
misschien wel tof was om er tekst aan toe te voegen. Niet veel later klonken de
teksten van Jebroer over de beats en wisten we: Dit is hem!”

Festival-knaller van het jaar
Inmiddels knalt de plaat dagelijks uit de speakers in Nederland, maar ook in België. Niets
nieuws voor een doorgewinterde artiest als Paul Elstak, die met zijn hits als “Rainbow in
the Sky”, “Luv U More” en recentelijk nog “Turbo” al vaker de hitlijsten wist te veroveren.
“Toch is dit anders” vertelt Paul, die door vele wordt gezien als the Godfather of Hardcore.
“Je merkt dat deze plaat veel los maakt bij mensen. De reacties zijn veel meer
uitgesproken dan bij mijn vorige hits” “Sommige mensen houden er hele theorieën op na waarom we de plaat gemaakt zouden hebben, maar de waarheid is dat wij gewoon een lekkere knalplaat wilden maken waar flink op gefeest kan worden”. Dat er gefeest wordt op de plaat is een ding wat zeker is: door sommigen wordt Kind van de Duivel al benoemd tot festival-knaller van 2017.

Inmiddels is ook de opvolger van “Kind van de Duivel” verschenen. “Engeltje” is wederom
een samenwerking met Jebroer en laat minstens net zo veel stof opwaaien als zijn
voorganger. “We hebben met Engeltje het Nederlands YouTube record verbroken met 1
miljoen views in 32 uur.” vertelt Dr Phunk. “We zijn benieuwd of ook voor deze plaat
dominees in de pen klimmen”, grapt hij nog. Ondertussen gaan de dj’s vooral door met
nieuwe platen maken en het festivalseizoen waar ze middenin zitten.

Spotify en Deezer.

Het zal je niet ontgaan zijn: de nationale hit "Kind van de Duivel" van Dr Phunk, Paul Elstak en Jebroer. Waar de track de afgelopen weken veel stof deed opwaaien, heeft het nummer in Nederlands inmiddels een platinum plaat opgeleverd, in België een gouden plaat, 15 miljoen+ Youtube plays, 11 miljoen+ Spotify plays, aangevuld met menige #1 positionering op iTunes, Spotify en Youtube.

Het populaire nummer Kind van de Duivel van Jebroer en DJ Paul Elstak houdt de gemoederen in Nederland al een tijdje flink bezig. Het duo heeft daar nu nog even een schepje bovenop gedaan.

De rapper en dj waren woensdag op bezoek bij de Belgische radiozender Studio Brussel. In de uitzending brachten ze het nummer live ten gehore samen met een kinderkoor.Beelden van het optreden zijn door de zender op YouTube gezet. De kinderen hebben hoorntjes op hun hoofd en dansen en zingen lekker mee met het aanstekelijke nummer.

Ahoy is natuurlijk de zaal waar iedere Rotterdammer wil staan die iets met muziek doet!
Ook internationaal hoor. Het is een van de grootste zalen van Nederland. En het is super, want hij staat in Rotterdam. Het was een wens die ik nog had, een eigen feest in Ahoy. Nu gaat het gebeuren.

Hoe is het feest ontstaan?
Jarenlang heb ik mijn verjaardagsfeest gevierd in januari en dat was altijd een succes. Vorig jaar werd ik 50 en toen gaf ik een feest in de Maassilo. Ik besloot dat dat ook de laatste keer was dat ik mijn verjaardag vierde, het was genoeg. Het is best veel werk om zoiets op te zetten, maar het was een enorm succes en de sfeer was erg goed. En met dat goede gevoel wilde ik nog wel iets doen. Toen kwam er een datum vrij in Ahoy bij B2S om iets te organiseren. Die zeiden, zullen we een feest voor jou in Ahoy doen? Een soloavond.

Wat dacht je toen?
Super! De eigenaar van B2S wist dat ik zoiets altijd nog wilde doen. Niet dat ik er elke nacht van droomde, maar het stond wel op mijn bucketlist.

Wat kunnen mensen verwachten?
Er zit onder meer een showcase in van mezelf waarin ik terug ga in mijn muzikale carrière. Dat wordt heel speciaal met entertainment en een show met licht en geluid. We hebben gastoptredens van producers en dj’s. Met de productie ben ik de komende weken nog hard bezig. Ik bouw de avond ook op qua gezelligheid op de manier waarop ik denk dat het moet. We gaan zorgen voor een legendarische avond.

Hoe belangrijk is Rotterdam voor jou?
Rotterdam is de stad waar alles begon. Ik ben ooit begonnen in de Bluetiek Inn en kwam daar in aanraking met Peter Slaghuis. Hij introduceerde me in de wereld van house. Daarna ging ik aan de slag bij Midtown en kwam ik in aanraking met hardcore. Ik begon met de groep Holy Noise en dat was meteen succesvol. Denk ook aan Parkzicht vroeger. Daar kwam ik geregeld.

Had je toen het idee dat je nu nog succesvol zou zijn?
Nee, toen ik 30 werd dacht ik: nou is het wel voorbij. Maar ik werd 40 en het ging nog steeds door, nu ben ik 51 geworden en ik heb het drukker dan ooit. Ik zit op dit moment aan mijn piek wat boekingen betreft. Te bizar voor woorden. Zeker op freestyle- en hardcorefeesten ben ik goed vertegenwoordigd. Op alle soorten feesten kan ik draaien. Je best blijven doen en muziek maken en om de zoveel tijd een klapper hebben.

Nu sta je weer in de Top 40 met Jebroer.
Het is belangrijk dat je vernieuwt en niet blijft hangen. Ik ben nu bezig met de succesvolle freestyleproducer Dr Phunk en voor de vocalen met Jebroer om een nieuwe plaat te maken. Jebroer komt uit een hele andere scene, maar die wil ik erbij betrekken. Onze plaat wordt nu zelfs gedraaid op Slam FM.

Estasia is only 18 years old and thus the youngest female uptempo hardcore deejay known to the hardcore scene. She is currently working on her first EP which will be released in December.

Dj Estasia started playing for fun 5 years ago when she was only 13 years old. She played at a few clubs and since 2016 at some bigger events where she rocked the crowd with her uptempo hardcore music set and energetic performance.

When Beau (her real name) played a gig at hardcore radio in august 2016 she got more viewers/listeners than any other artist who played live at the studio. More than 225.000 unique views, reaching over 828.000 people and getting almost 10.000 likes on her live set was one of the reasons why she got signed at Rige Bookings.
